Update on the lifetime cat tag confusion! CARES tells me City Hall screwed up (surprise, surprise) – the information Ms City of Burien gave me over the phone was not accurate. All CARES requires is the tag numbers of the cats and their “physical location” (am assuming that doesn’t mean sleeping on the stack of Fred Meyer grocery bags).
So spread the word if you’re a senior Burien resident whose critters have King County lifetime tags – call CARES Animal Control and they will fix you up.
Want to extend a sincere apology to CARES for assuming they didn’t care about our wonderful seniors. That impression was base solely on the information I was given by the person at City of Burien – which turned out to be totally WRONG! That’s what I get for trusting City Hall is all-seeing, all-knowing.
